UPDATE: I always liked this shot but was never overly pleased with the colour and overall tone.Using Lightroom I have (hopefully) made the colour a wee bit more natural and the general tone a little less foggy.
The contrast has also had a boost aswell as as sharpening and grain removal.The grain was shockingly bad on the original posting,god only knows how I managed to miss it. The title is taken from the novel 'The Weirdstone of Brisingamen' by Alan Garner,set in and around the Alderley Edge area.  I'm sure if I keep staring at it I'll see the wood fairies buzzing around the light! Enchanting and enchanted!
