I'm trying to force myself to shoot thing's I tend to struggle with and trees and forests are very definately one of those things.
Not perfect by a shake of any mans stick but a looooot better than I've managed in the past.

It is a beautiful picture. I love the odd shape of the centered tree and how it seems that everything goes to it. The light is good as well.

Though suggestions with this picture is you could have played with your angles a little more. Front lighting isn't always the best way to go, but it did turn out nice. I would have loved to see side lighting with this picture. If you have a manual camera you could have played with the F-stops a little to get something else as well.

But overall beautiful picture.
