I like it, but feel that the horizontal lines that you've added somewhat detract form the image. Maybe if you kept the horizontal lines but had fewer of them, it may help....

Hell if I know though... just a suggestion.

I like the light and dark. I agree that the horizontal lines seem to distract from the image.
