Im on the fence aswell.I think I like this one better purely for the textures in the glass part.Just a shame about the grain near the top.

what grain? oh.. i guess there's a little... must be a professional photographer thing.... i couldn't see it even after you told me about it, i don't see it as a problem!

Its not to bad when the image is small but its really distracting on the larger view.I really should have set up my lighting better,I just shot with natural light from a window.

For noise removal try noise ninja. Works great. Great shot btw, turned out really nice.

I don't have any tips, I love the grain, it sort of gives it a mysterious atmopshere, the smoke looks like it's moving. I love the idea of the shot and how the smokes occupy the space. It looks like you cropped it or magnified it ?
