I spent an ungodly amount of time this afternoon editing a split tone version of this only to realize I had mucked up the colour tone.Absolutely everything I tried ended in disaster of the most spectacular fashion and now the gods honest truth is I have no clue if this version (which took 20 mins) is any better as I'm having real trouble getting my eyes to focus on the monitor.
I'm going to go now and get a sponge as I think my eyes are in danger of melting right out of their sockets, thank's for looking.

This image lacks completly the feeling of deph. It doesn't really seem that the thing on the left is alot closer than other ones. This could be because there are no long lines which lead the viewer to end of image, or anything really.
Tones here on the other hand are huge success, its a pleasure to watch greenish tones on the mid part of image and let the look wander around and notice interesting tone choices. Textures here are amazing too, full of details.
I'd look at this image as abstract art rather than photograph thats trying to take viewer to the place where you took the image. Its a damn good shot in overall, and the details are awesome.
It was processed from a single jpg as a psuedo HDR and then edited in lightroom and photoshop.
I did'nt even no it was possible to get a HDR effect from a single jpg untill recently but it can save a lot of hastle and can even rescue some shots with poor exposure.
Heheh yeah it does have that sort of feel to it,everything I've edited lately seems to have an LOTR flavour to it....it must be a phase I'm going through
